Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

My GiveBack Hub connects homeowners with trusted local service providers and directs a share of every completed job to a charity the customer chooses. We want everyone to be able to use it, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

The standard we work toward

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as our target for this website and our service provider and charity portals.

Accessibility is ongoing work. We review the site with automated testing tools and manual keyboard and screen reader checks, and we fix issues as we find them.

What we have done

• A "Skip to main content" link at the top of every public page
• Text and interface colors chosen to meet WCAG contrast guidelines
• Descriptive text for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from screen readers
• Pages that can be zoomed and used on phones and tablets
• Respect for your device’s “reduce motion” setting

Known limitations

Some parts of the site are still being improved, including certain forms, pop-up dialogs, and areas of the service provider and charity portals. Our downloadable welcome guides (PDF) may not yet work well with every screen reader. If you need any of this content in another format, contact us and we will provide it.

Some content is provided by others, such as photos, logos, and descriptions uploaded by charities and service providers, and pages hosted by third parties like our payment processor. We encourage our partners to make their content accessible, but we do not control it directly.
